Collins Center for the Arts

The Collins Center for the Arts is the anchor for the performing arts at the University of Maine, and supports the University’s overall mission of teaching, research, and service. Hackerspace

The Hackerspace is 91¸£Àû’s gateway to digital makerspaces. It is a place for campus community members to explore technologies and tools that are expanding into our daily lives. The University envisions the Hackerspace as an environment in which all students, no matter their prior experience or skill level, can begin to explore new ways of making and thinking. Working alone, in teams, or as part of a course, students can develop new approaches to old tasks.They can try their hands at 3D printing, sewing (including wearable tech), recording a jingle, designing and cutting vinyl, scanning an object in 3D, and much more.

Multicultural Student Life

The mission of the Office of Multicultural Student Life is to actively promote an inclusive learning environment by enhancing institutional efforts in retaining and graduating students prepared for a diverse global society. We promote the academic success and leadership development of students through intentional programs and services that holistically address cultural, educational and civic growth.

Page Farm & Home Museum

The mission of the Page Farm & Home Museum is to collect, document, preserve, interpret and disseminate knowledge of Maine history relating to farms and farming communities between 1865 and 1940, providing an educational and cultural experience for the public and a resource for researchers of this period.

Residence Life

Residence Life oversees the day-to-day staffing and operations within the residence halls here at 91¸£Àû. Our staff works with other faculty and staff from across the university campus to build safe, inclusive and welcoming communities for all of our residential students.

Student Government

91¸£Àû Student Government Inc. (UMSG) is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Corporation built with the intention of improving student life here on campus. UMSG is a distinct entity from the University of Maine, but maintains a special cooperative relationship as a direct-funded organization. With a yearly budget of roughly $750,000 assessed by the undergraduate activity fee, this organization works tirelessly to use that money on behalf of students in a manner consistent with or organizing principles, and any professional non-profit.

Wabanaki Center

The Center is committed to building and sustaining a mutually beneficial relationship between the University of Maine and Native American communities. It is a gathering place for indigenous scholars engaged in advancing Wabanaki studies through teaching, research and publication.
