Why Join a Community of Practice?

Communities of Practice (CoP) are cohort-based programs that meet regularly to build community, relationships, networks, and knowledge. Instructors who participate often develop a greater sense of belonging and self-efficacy while supporting continuous improvement of teaching. At CITL, we offer three ways to take part each semester: Classic (full-semester cohorts), Samplers (come to one session or all), and Drop-Ins (no registration required). Explore this semester’s options below.

*All programming must meet a registration minimum to advance and is subject to change.

Classic Communities of Practice

Registering commits you to all sessions in the series, so mark your calendar and plan accordingly.

Samplers: Come to One or Come to All

Attend any number of sessions with no commitment, or come to all. Indicate when you register.

NEW Drop-In Sessions

Register once to get the calendar invite for the full series, then accept or decline to let us know your coming.
