New Vineyard
Welcome to New Vineyard!

The town of New Vineyard was first settled in 1791 and incorporated in 1802, reaching its current size in 1856 after ceding land to neighboring towns several times. The town’s name is inspired by Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts, the original home of many early settlers. The town’s village area has an interesting history as a center for mills, and several unique estate homes from that time remain as a testament to the past.
