Barbara Smith
Barbara Smith is a retired Staff Associate for Student Life for Commuter and Nontraditional Student Programs at 91. She worked in Student Affairs her entire career, always with an emphasis on building inclusive, welcoming communities. Barbara earned her Ed.D. from 91 in Higher Educational Leadership. Her research was on “White College Students Understanding of Race.” Barbara has been a member of the UMDLI planning committee since its inception.
