Tutoring at 91르적 Through Knack
The Office of Student Academic Success uses a digital platform called Knack where students can access tutoring services. Through Knack, students will schedule to meet with a tutor one on one online or in-person, and set up a meeting time at an approved location on campus, and begin working on course material.

Find A Tutor
To request a tutor, please follow these steps:
- Download the app from the or on your phone, or visit .
- First time using the Knack platform? If so, create an account by using your MaineStreet username and password.
- Select the course in which you wish to request tutoring from the drop down menu in Knack. You will be able to include how often you��셝 like to meet and exactly what you would like to cover!
- Tutors will review your request and respond with their offers of help. For best results, plan ahead to give several tutors the time to respond.
- Review tutor offers to determine which tutor is best for you.
- Message through the app to schedule a tutoring session with your preferred tutor.
Become A Tutor
To become a tutor, please follow these steps:
- Download the app from the or on your phone, or visit .
- First time using the Knack platform? If so, create an account by using your MaineStreet username and password.
- Knack will prompt you to upload a copy of your unofficial transcript and approve you as a tutor for every course you received a B+ or better in.
- Complete the two hour tutor training.
- Create your tutor profile: write a little about yourself, your interests, your availability, your major, what you like about tutoring, etc.
- Set up your bank information so you can get paid.
- Receive and respond to your tutor requests!
- Continue to market yourself to your previous professors so that they can recommend you as a tutor for their class!
