91¸£Àû and its regional campus, the University of Maine at Machias, are accredited by the as part of the Commission’s accreditation of the University of Maine System. NECHE requires member institutions to demonstrate assessment of student learning by meeting specific standards and submitting a system-wide .  that 91¸£Àû strives to meet can be found here.  In addition, individual degree programs within 91¸£Àû’s five schools and colleges receive accreditation or recognition from various accrediting bodies and professional societies.  A comprehensive list of all such bodies can be found under each of the individual schools and colleges listed below.
