Robert D. Buchanan ’44 Alumni House
Robert D. Buchanan, a retired dentist and Caribou native, is a graduate of the University of Maine Class of 1944. The Alumni House was named in honor of Buchanan who made the naming gift of $1 million toward the new building. The Robert D. Buchanan ’44 Alumni House opened in 2002. The 91¸£Àû Alumni Association and University of Maine Foundation spearheaded the fundraising project and are now housed in building.
