Toni Kaplan received funding for her project entitled &#8220;Evaluation of Virtual Reality Simulation as a Supplemental Treatment in Cases of Seasonal Affective Disorder,&#8221; which will explore the use of virtual reality in conjunction with light therapy as an improved method of treatment for Seasonal Affective Disorder, variations of which affect up to 16-20%\u00a0of college students in the Northeast.
