In addition to the fabulous views from the peak, the trail passes the Bickford Slides waterfalls along the way.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alltrails.com\/trail\/us\/maine\/white-cairn-to-stone-house-trail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Blueberry Mountain<\/a> <\/strong><em>716 Phillips Rd, Weld, ME 04285<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>This moderate, 4 mile loop hike offers great views along the way and from the Blueberry Mountain peak, as well as a stop for a swim at Rattlesnake Pool on the way!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fs.usda.gov\/recarea\/whitemountain\/recarea\/?recid=79453\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Deer Hill Mineral Collecting Area<\/strong><\/a> <em>Shell Pond Rd, Stow, ME 04037<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>For a unique summertime activity, try your luck prospecting at this public mineral site! Access to the site is by a hike of less than 1 mile, and the required permit is free and available at the trailhead.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alltrails.com\/trail\/us\/maine\/rattlesnake-pool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rattlesnake Flume &amp; Pool<\/a> <\/strong><em>Shell Pond Rd, Stow, ME 04037<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>This crystal-clear, icy-cold swimming hole and beautiful flume are accessible by a 2.1 mile round-trip hike from the popular Stone House Trail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fs.usda.gov\/recarea\/whitemountain\/recreation\/camping-cabins\/recarea\/?recid=74807&amp;actid=50\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>The Brickett Place<\/strong><\/a> <em>Brickett Pl, Stow, ME 04037<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>This 1830&#8217;s settler home is the oldest standing structure in the area, and has been preserved as an educational site.
