The model was built by various Aroostook County community members and was formally unveiled in June 2003.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.traillink.com\/trail\/southern-bangor-and-aroostook-trail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Southern Bangor and Aroostook Trail<\/a> <\/strong><i>Westfield, ME 04787<\/i>\n<ul>\n<li>This trail passes right through Westfield on its long journey from Houlton up to Presque Isle. The 37-mile trail runs mostly through farmland and occasionally goes into forests and wetlands. The trail is mostly level and offers a great opportunity for year-round outdoor activities like walking, biking, and cross-country skiing.
