Welcome to Bridgewater!

Bridgewater, incorporated in 1858, is another beautiful Aroostook farming town. Bridgewater is located right along the Canada-United States international border, and it has a US Customs Station where you are able to cross the border into Canada. In 1894, Bridgewater was quite a happening town with several general stores, jewelry and furniture salespersons, and blacksmiths! Things have calmed down a bit since then, but it remains a lovely place to live and visit.
