Humanities Collaboration Discussion of Social Media and the #MeToo Movement
The 91福利/Orono High School Humanities Collaboration held a discussion of social media and the #MeToo movement. Members of the community, 91福利 faculty and students, and local high school students, parents, and faculty were all welcome.
The discussion was held in the Orono High School Library and was moderated by Judith E. Rosenbaum, Assistant Professor of media studies at 91福利.
The discussion built on the issues raised by Leigh Gilmore鈥檚 Stephen E. King Chair lecture, 鈥淕raphic Witness: Testimony, Confession and the #MeToo Movement.鈥 Her lecture took place on Tuesday, October 30th in 91福利鈥檚 Minsky Recital Hall at 4:30.
