Mar 11th: NSF CAREER informational session
Join ORD for a special presentation to outline and discuss the ; due on July 22nd.  
Supports early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization.

Apr 8th: NSF CAREER proposal support
ORD will be available to: discuss project scope-intellectual merit-broader impacts, research and education plans, provide feedback, outline narrative, discuss proposal components, and other identified topics of interest. Subsequent working group or individual meetings; can be scheduled, upon request.

Grants 101: Seeking, Analyzing, and Writing Basics (see location for each date)
This workshop series will provide information and instruction on how to set-up and use Pivot- a funding opportunity database accessible across UMS; followed by a session on reading funding calls and proposal writing strategies. (Tuesday & Thursday of fall & spring breaks)

Finding Funding Challenge (asynchronous)
Each day, for five days, participants will receive an email with short, self-paced tasks designed to build grantsmanship skills. You will learn how to effectively and efficiently find funding opportunities tailored to your creative and scholarly interests, strategically read and respond to a funding call, and make your grant proposal a standout. (3rd Week of December/finals’ week)
