Come work with us or send us your material. We can process dry or wet materials, from as little a 0.5 kg up to 350 pounds (all on a dry basis).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Feedstock Versatility:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hardwood and softwood pulps, wood chips, wood residuals, non-woody biomass<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Processing &#8211; Mechanical Refiners<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The PDC has both double-disk and conical refiners. Our newest system includes Valmet&#8217;s DD6700 double-disk series and Valmet&#8217;s OptiPro conical refiner. These are commercial scale refiners, requiring at least 600-800 pounds (dry) weight of material to run.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The PDC also has a Regmed 6&#8243; lab scale refiner for smaller batches, typically 50 liters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tailor Processing to Dial-in Properties<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A Morfi analyzer and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.valmet.com\/automation\/analyzers-measurements\/analyzers\/fiber-image-analyzer-for-external-fibrillation-fiber-length-measurement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Valmet&#8217;s FS5 Fiber Image Analyzer<\/a> is used to monitor CNF production. CNF can be made to a variety of fines levels to change properties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pretreatment options can be included in production<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scale-up<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lab scale supermasscolloider enables small quantities to be pre-evaluated prior to scale-up<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Capacity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1-2 ton per day capacity, depending on material<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Over 30 tons of CNF produced, over 250 runs completed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3% slurry or 20% cake product available<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Off-site pilot spray dryer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The PDC has extensive experience in producing CNF or highly refined cellulose, from a wide variety of feedstocks, processing conditions and pretreatments using our patented and licensed technology.
