The scanner can read only one bubble done in pencil, it will not read ink or handwriting. The name bubbles need to filled in so the results are matched to the correct student. Special instructions, such as multiple correct answers, bonus or dropped questions, should be added at the bottom of the Scoring Services Form. Only a single point value is calculated per answer, partial credit cannot be assigned by the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Drop off exams to 101 Alumni with the following items: <ul><li>Current\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/oira\/resource\/scoring-services-request-form\/\" id=\"https:\/\/umainesystem.sharepoint.com\/:w:\/s\/UM-OnlineDocs\/EdAYP3kARBFIg_GGMKUAclEBVB3s15JoKBe0h5D-p18Dig?rtime=ytWa7L0p3Ug\">Scoring Services Request Form<\/a>\u00a0(cover sheet)<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Answer Key filled in on the exam section of the blue bubble sheet only. Please add class name and number in the top margin.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students&#8217; completed exams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please put all exams facing the same direction, making sure the sheets are not stuck together.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please ensure all students have filled in the dots under their names and only pencil (not ink) has been used. Only filled in bubbles are read by the scanner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Instructors will receive an email with a link to the results. The results will be in an Excel file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Results are usually sent to instructors in 1-2 business days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All score sheets will be returned to the instructor via campus mail or set aside for someone to pick them up from Alumni Hall. Please indicate your preference on the Request Form.
