The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredits both the baccalaureate and master’s degree programs in nursing as well as the post-graduate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certificate program offered by the University of Maine School of Nursing (http:\/\/www.ccneaccreditation.org<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The CCNE on-site accreditation review for the School of Nursing is scheduled February 25th-28th, 2020. Our last CCNE accreditation review occurred in 2010.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You are invited to submit written comments about any of our degree or certificate programs to CCNE no later than February 5, 2020.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0CCNE shares third-party comments with members of the evaluation team before the visit,\u00a0but at no time during the review process are these comments shared with the program.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

During its review of 91¸£Àû School of Nursing programs, the evaluation team considers third-party comments that relate to the accreditation standards. All third-party comments submitted to CCNE must be written in English, consistent with CCNE’s policy on Conduct of Business. CCNE accepts only signed comments for inclusion in the accreditation review process.<\/p>\n

If you would like to submit third-party comments regarding any of the University of Maine School of Nursing programs currently scheduled for on-site review, please submit to thirdpartycomments@ccneaccreditation.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n
