W繹rsd繹rfer publishes new book on AI ethics and governance

Manuel W繹rsd繹rfer, associate professor of management and computing ethics at the University of Maine, has published a new book exploring the ethical, cultural and regulatory dimensions of artificial intelligence.

In AI Ethics and Governance: Historical, Cultural, and Regulatory Perspectives, W繹rsd繹rfer explores AI through the lens of history, philosophy, ethics, political economy and public policy. Through six interconnected essays, the book analyzes the origins of AI research, portrayals of artificial intelligence in popular culture and the emerging approaches to regulation.
