University of Maine professor of pomology Renae Moran provided insight to and the on how this season’s drought has impacted apple orchards across the state. 鈥淭rees are very resilient, and they have a way of producing apples every year,鈥 said Moran, who is also a University of Maine Cooperative Extension tree fruit specialist.
