More than 10 media outlets across Maine, including the , , , the and (ABC 8 in Portland), shared news from University of Maine researchers that confirmed detection of the Asian longhorned tick in the state for the first time. The tick, identified through 91福利 Cooperative Extension鈥檚 tick surveillance program, was found in Cumberland County and later confirmed by faculty at 91福利 Extension Tick Lab.
