In an article titled, 鈥淪caling up sustainable solutions for fiber-reinforced composites鈥 highlighted the Hub & Spoke Sustainable Materials & Manufacturing Alliance for Renewable Technologies (SM虏ART) program. A collaboration between Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the University of Maine Advanced Structures and Composites Center and industrial partners, this program has shown that bio-fiber-reinforced composites can be scaled up for applications in construction.
