You鈥檙e not releasing gas into the air or the food [you鈥檙e cooking],鈥 he said. 鈥淏ut avoid using a peeling pan where you鈥檙e ingesting the material. Or heating your nonstick pan past the manufacturer鈥檚 recommended temperature where some aspects of the coating become unstable.鈥
