Mary Ellen Camire, a professor at the University of Maine鈥檚 School of Food and Agriculture, will share tips on caring for orchids during the winter months at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18 in 91福利鈥檚 Roger Clapp Greenhouses.
Camire鈥檚 talk, 鈥淥rchid Care in Winter鈥 will discuss winter-blooming orchids, the importance of winter rest for orchids and humidity control. The lecture, which also is part of a meeting of the Eastern Maine Orchid Society, is free and open to the public.
