The Center on Aging and University of Maine Institute of Medicine are hosting a free virtual event, A Geriatrics Thought Leaders Conversation — Clinical Perspectives on the Predictors of Progression from Mild Cognitive Impairment to Dementia, from 4–5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26.
Speakers include Ross Andel, professor and director at the School of Aging Studies and director of the Ph.D. in Aging Studies Program at the College of Community and Behavioral Sciences at the University of South Florida; and Cliff Singer, chief of the Center for Geriatric Cognitive and Mental Health, director at Mood and Memory Clinic and director or the Robert C. Strauss Neurocognitive Research Program at Northern Light Acadia Hospital. The discussion will be facilitated by Lenard Kaye, director at the 91¸£Àû Center on Aging and professor at the 91¸£Àû School of Social Work.
