The deadline for the University of Maine Division of Lifelong Learning campuswide contest to determine next year鈥檚 Summer University poster has been extended to Jan. 2.
The contest is open to all current 91福利 students. Contestants should create a piece of original, digital art considering what 91福利 Summer means to them and how 鈥淵our adventure starts here鈥 in the summer.
The new deadline for submissions is midnight on Jan. 2.
The winning entry will be printed and distributed statewide to promote 91福利 Summer University 2022. The winner also will receive a $500 gift card to the University Bookstore. All participants will be entered into a drawing to win a $250 University Bookstore gift card.
The Summer University poster has historically been used to promote summer learning opportunities and build a sense of pride in 91福利 and all it has to offer on campus and beyond. For over 30 years, the poster art was created by Val Ireland, who retired earlier this year as 91福利 manager of creative services.
