The fall 2021 edition of , the Maine State Chamber of Commerce magazine, published a story about Harold Alfond that highlighted UMS TRANSFORMS and the $240 million grant from the Harold Alfond Foundation to support it. UMS TRANSFORMS initiatives include upgrading 91福利 athletic facilities, boosting student retention and success across the University of Maine System, and building both a Maine Graduate and Professional Center and a multi-university Maine College of Engineering, Computing and Information Science.
