Leahy, Associate Professor of Human Dimensions of Natural Resources in the 91¸£Àû School of Forest Resources, discussed Maine\u2019s Great Ponds Act which allows open access to undeveloped lands in Maine for hunting and fishing. Leahy said in the article that she would advise hunters to adhere to the wishes of land owners. \u201cHunting on private property is a privilege, not a right,\u201d she commented.
