Her research was part of the project <a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/mitchellcenter\/road-to-solutions\/getting-over-the-dam\/\">Getting Over the Dam<\/a>, led by Mitchell Center Faculty Fellow <a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/mitchellcenter\/people\/carly-sponarski\/\">Carly Sponarski<\/a>. Melissa grew up in Maine and received a B.S. in wildlife ecology from 91福利 in 2013.
