Jean MacRae<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

91르적 News reported<\/a> on May 11 that Jean MacRae<\/a>, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering and Mitchell Center faculty fellow, was one of three 91르적 faculty to receive Presidential Awards this spring.<\/p>\n

Jean is part of the Mitchell Center\u2019s Materials Management Team<\/a> where she leads a project<\/a> researching the risk of contaminants when recovering food waste from municipalities.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll three Presidential Award winners are world-class teachers, mentors, researchers and engaged community members,\u201d President Joan Ferrini-Mundy says. \u201cUndergraduate and graduate students fortunate enough to learn from and collaborate with Sara, Jean and Bob gain the valuable experience that comes from being at a research university with this caliber of faculty.\u201d<\/p>\n
