{"id":25149,"date":"2021-12-09T13:35:57","date_gmt":"2021-12-09T18:35:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/mitchellcenter\/?page_id=25149"},"modified":"2022-03-29T11:37:47","modified_gmt":"2022-03-29T15:37:47","slug":"covid-19","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/mitchellcenter\/2022-maine-sustainability-water-conference\/covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19 Protocols"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Updated March 28, 2022<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As the main organizer for the Maine Sustainability &amp; Water Conference, the Mitchell Center is required to have conference attendees follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maine.edu\/together\/community-guidance\/everyone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">University of Maine System COVID-19 protocols<\/a>. Following are the UMS requirements as of 3\/26\/2022. Updates will be provided as they become available. We will also notify registrants of final protocols as we get closer to the conference.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Updated mask policy (3\/26\/22): <\/strong>Face coverings are optional. Face coverings continue to be welcomed when individuals choose to wear them as a matter of personal choice<\/li>\n<li><strong>Early arrival for COVID-19 checks:<\/strong> Attendees are encouraged to arrive early. Doors will open at 7AM<\/li>\n<li><strong>COVID 19 symptoms:<\/strong> Please stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Present valid ID: <\/strong>Valid ID is required for entrance<\/li>\n<li><strong>Present proof of vaccination or negative test:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Attendees five years old or older must provide proof that they are fully vaccinated with an FDA approved COVID-19 vaccine. Legitimate, legible, original vaccination cards and physical or electronic copies will be accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>-OR-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test, which includes a negative PCR test or rapid antigen which must be administered within 72 hours of the start of the performance or event. The test results must clearly show the date and time of the test. This test may be performed by a medical professional or by using an over-the-counter testing kit. A time-stamped photo of an at-home test result is acceptable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>91¸£Àû faculty, students and staff may show the 91¸£Àû PointNClick green confirmation screen (no screenshots).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>No admittance:<\/strong> If unable to provide valid proof of vaccination or a valid negative test, guests will be turned away from the event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional information and policy updates will be provided as they become available.
