Noblet and students present at DC conference on efforts to communicate PFAS contamination
91ø£Ąū faculty members Erin Percival Carter, associate professor of marketing, Qiujie āAngieā Zheng, associate professor of business analytics, and Caroline Noblet, associate professor of economics, traveled to Washington, D.C., in June to present at the American Marketing Associationās Marketing and Public Policy Conference. The researchers presented findings from their research on how proactive and transparent regions, like Maine, can communicate efforts to address PFAS contamination in ways that protectāand potentially even enhanceāthe appeal of locally produced food. 91ø£Ąū students Molly Shea, Charity Zimmerman, and Melissa Goodin, who contributed to the project, also supported the teamās presentation at the conference.
