Dominique DiSpirito named 2022 Valedictorian, Outstanding Graduating Student
Dominique DiSpirito, a senior political science major with minors in legal studies and ecology and environmental sciences, has been named Valedictorian and Outstanding Graduating Student in the Honors College for the class of 2022.
DiSpirito鈥檚 impressive accomplishments and experience include a Mitchell Center internship during which she worked with municipalities across Maine to set up and maintain community food recycling pilot programs. In addition, she focused her Honors thesis, 鈥淓nvisioning a Bold Food Waste Policy for Maine: A Mixed-Methods Study into the Context of Landfill Diversion of Food Waste,鈥 on food waste solutions.
