Dr. Ranco is a citizen of the , Mitchell Center faculty fellow, as well as Associate Professor of Anthropology and Chair of Native American Programs at 91¸£Àû. In the interview he describes the relationship between the Penobscot Nation and 91¸£Àû, how it has changed over time, and potential future steps.
When asked about how to tackle this work as an “activist scholar,” Ranco says, “My overall suggestion is to start small and have some success and build trust.”
