Linda Silka to discuss research partnerships at February 28 workshop
Mitchell Center Senior Fellow Linda Silka will be on a panel for the workshop “Strengthening the impact of your Arctic research” on Friday, February 28, 12 – 1:30 pm. in the Bangor Room of Memorial Union.
91 has many programs that involve collaboration with researchers, as well as broad expertise on how to develop research-education-outreach partnerships. The panel will focus on existing 91 programs and the characteristics of successful partnerships, and the emphasis within large funding agencies such as NASA and the National Science Foundation on “Broader Impacts.” Faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend with ideas for discussion about what 91 does, and can do, to foster activity in support of broader research outcomes.
