Dickey, MD, FRCSC Assistant Professor, University of Colorado Dept. of Orthopaedics<\/p>\n<p>Dr.\u00a0Dickey\u00a0is an Orthopaedic Oncologist.\u00a0 He did his undergraduate and medical school at the University of British Columbia, and then completed his internship and residency in Orthopaedics at McGill University, followed by a fellowship with two years of Adult Reconstruction and Musculoskeletal Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.<\/p>\n<p>He is an adjunct professor in Biomedical Engineering as well as External Faculty of the Graduate School at the University of Maine, where he also received an honorary Francis Crowe degree in 2006.\u00a0 He maintains a collaborative laboratory looking at in-vitro and in-vivo models of tissue attachment in additive\u00a0 manufactured highly porous foams.<\/p>\n<p>Dr.\u00a0Dickey\u00a0is the chair of the EAB for the Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate program at the University of Maine.\u00a0 In addition, he is the current president of the Franklin Hindson Sim Tumor Society.<\/p>\n<p>Originally from Vancouver, BC, is now practicing in Denver, Colorado as an Assistant Professor with the University of Colorado Department of Orthopaedics and the Eastern Colorado Veterans Administration.<\/p>\n<p>The event is free but registration is required.\u00a0 Please use\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/maine.zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/tZ0rdeCupzIsGd2zUUmSHSP2mYHHVlSXqvLq\">this link<\/a>\u00a0to register.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Speaker: Ian D.
