An NAM committee conducted a thorough review to determine whether the enterprise can continue to lead globally and address our population\u2019s health needs in the face of complex challenges. This report presents the results of that review and lays out strategies to reimagine and reinvigorate the biomedical research enterprise before a moment of crisis.
