53rd Maine Biological and Medical Sciences Symposium

Researchers, students, and professionals are invited to attend the 53rd Maine Biological and Medical Sciences Symposium (MBMSS) on April 24–25, 2026 at the MDI Biological Laboratory.

This annual symposium brings together scientists and students from across Maine and beyond to share research in biological and medical sciences. The program will feature a keynote address from Dr. Jay Storz of the University of Nebraska, along with speaker presentations, poster sessions, and opportunities for scientific networking.

Call for Abstracts

Students and researchers are invited to submit abstracts for platform talks and poster presentations.

Abstract submission deadline: April 6, 2026.

The symposium provides an opportunity to present research, engage with the scientific community, and learn about new developments in biomedical and life sciences.
