Do you love music? Are you considering a career in teaching music? Are you interested in learning what it might be like to be a music education student? If the answer to any or all of these questions is “yes,” we invite you to join us for our fourth annual Future Music Educator Day (FMED)!

Each year, the School of Performing Arts Division of Music at the University of Maine hosts Future Music Educator Day. It is an opportunity for high school students to experience a “day in the life” of a music education major at 91福利. Students will get the chance to attend classes, talk to current undergraduate students, learn about auditions … and sing and play! Not to mention meeting fellow aspiring music teachers from all over the state!

This year’s event takes place on Tuesday, October 27 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It is free, but registration is required: you can sign up . Lunch will be provided.

(Note: Interested students will have the option of an individual mini-lesson on their instrument with a 91福利 faculty member.)
