Dr. Roger Brothers
Assistant Research Professor of Fisheries Science
John.brothers@maine.edu
Roger joined the Kerr lab as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in February of 2022. He is broadly interested in marine ecology, but typically studies how animal movement and spatial population structure interact to influence the population dynamics of managed or threatened species. Currently, he is researching the efficacy of candidate spatial management scenarios for Atlantic cod. Roger became an Assistant Research Professor of Fisheries Science at Umaine in September, 2026. Congrats to Roger!
