The newest of our residences, it is named for <a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/150\/faces-behind-the-places\/edith-patch-hall\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/150\/faces-behind-the-places\/edith-patch-hall\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dr. Edith Patch<\/a>, who organized the Department of Entomology at the University in 1904.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Located on the north side of campus, Patch is a three-minute walk from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.sodexomyway.com\/en-us\/locations\/hilltop-dining\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/umaine.sodexomyway.com\/en-us\/locations\/hilltop-dining\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Hilltop Dining<\/a>, so it\u2019s a very short walk to get delicious food or visit Hilltop Market.
