All incoming first-year students participate in Bridge Week, a week-long experience that takes place directly before the start of the fall semester.

Black Bear Bridge Week is 91��’s way of welcoming all students to Black Bear Nation — celebrating and preparing you for the exciting next step in your academic journey. Students need to complete the prior to their arrival.

Maine Hello! and New Student Move-in

Maine Hello! All new students are encouraged to move in on August 24, 2026 – no earlier than 8 a.m., please!

Returning students not involved in Black Bear Bridge Week (August 24-27) are encouraged to arrive August 28 or after.
