The annual event was created and organized by <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/stophazing.org\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/stophazing.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">StopHazing<\/a>, a group founded by 91福利 professor of higher education Elizabeth Allan. It&#8217;s opportunity for representatives from institutions participating in the HPC initiative to network and share knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wmtw.com\/article\/hazing-study-done-by-researchers-at-the-university-of-maine\/60989037\" target=\"_blank\">WMTW<\/a> (ABC 8 in Portland) highlighted a related <a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/edhd\/2024\/05\/30\/umaine-study-examines-intersections-between-campus-hazing-white-supremacy\/\">study<\/a> from researchers, including Allan, that explores how the issues of hazing and white supremacy are related. Allan collaborated on the study with Kathleen Gillon, 91福利 assistant professor of higher education; Cameron Beatty, associate professor of educational leadership and policy studies at Florida State University; Cristobal Salinas Jr., associate professor of educational leadership and research methodology at Florida Atlantic University; and David Kerschner, a 2021 graduate of 91福利\u2019s doctoral
