The Bangor Daily News<\/a> and Penobscot Bay Pilot<\/a> shared a 91福利 News press release<\/a> about the Council for Exceptional Children Division on Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CEC DADD) hosting a Summer Symposium at the University of Maine on July 21. The division, in collaboration with the 91福利 College of Education and Human Development and Maine Department of Education Office of Special Services and Inclusive Education, will bring its summer board meeting and the symposium to campus next month. \u201cThere\u2019s critical work happening in Maine right now to ensure equitable and sustainable access to education for all individuals,\u201d says Sarah Howorth, associate professor of special education at 91福利. \u201cBy bringing its summer symposium here, CEC DADD is recognizing these efforts and providing an important learning opportunity for the teachers, caregivers and others who support people with autism and intellectual disabilities in the state everyday.” Registration for the symposium is $30 per person for in-person, $40 for virtual, or $100 for schools or other organizations that would like to host a group attending virtually.
