Spectrum Disorder who live in rural areas. \u00a0\u201cThis started with 10 families,\u201d said Rooks-Ellis, assistant professor of special education. \u201cBut then when the pandemic hit, they were able to do it statewide across multiple families.\u201d Howorth said, \u201cOne woman said it was life-changing and it wasn\u2019t a short-term solution but was a life solution for their family.\u201d Rooks-Ellis and Howorth also shared their findings with <a href=\"https:\/\/foxbangor.com\/news\/item\/study-shows-positive-link-between-telehealth-and-kids-with-autism\/\" target=\"_blank\"
