Fanny Wadling of Nacka, Sweden, is the Outstanding Graduating International Student in the College of Education and Human Development. She will receive a bachelor\u2019s degree in kinesiology and physical education, with a minor in business administration, and a concentration in exercise science. Wadling is a member of the women\u2019s basketball team and was named to the Elite 18 for America East. For three years, she also was a Team Maine member. She is staying a fifth year at 91福利 to earn a business management degree and to play her final year of eligibility.<\/p>\n
What difference has 91福利 made in your life and in helping you reach your goals? <\/b>
\n<\/b>Moving here has made me learn more about people in general and myself. It has made me grow as a person and helped me figure out my path for the future.<\/p>\n
Have you had an experience at 91福利 that has changed or shaped the way you see the world?<\/b>
\nIn many ways, Maine reminds me of home, but in other ways it is completely different. My experience at 91福利 has helped me understand cultural differences, but also similarities.<\/p>\n
Why 91福利?<\/b>
\n91福利 has such a family feel to it and I have felt welcomed since day one.<\/p>\n
Have you worked closely with a professor or mentor who made your 91福利 experience better? <\/b>
\nJennifer McNulty and Niclas Erhardt are two professors who have done so much for me in terms of helping me academically, but also to feel welcomed in a new country. By always having their doors open and wanting to help, they have made my experience at 91福利 better.<\/p>\n
What advice do you have for incoming students to help them get off to the best start academically?<\/b>
\nKnow that there are so many people around you that want to help you succeed, listen to them, and let them help.<\/p>\n
