The interviewed Elizabeth Allan, University of Maine professor of higher education leadership and founder of , on a publicly presented report regarding hazing allegations of the Lisbon High School football team. Allan said the reactions from some of the parents are unsurprising. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a really tough and disappointing situation if your child has to deal with consequences if they weren鈥檛 directly involved,鈥 she said. 鈥淏ut it鈥檚 a reality of being on a team. If a team wins a championship, not everyone plays or contributes, but the whole team still gets to celebrate.鈥
