David Barrett

Dave began his career in public accounting in 1995 as a staff auditor for Arthur Andersen (yes, that Arthur Andersen) in Boston. He joined the MBS faculty in 2004 after graduate school at Indiana University and has taught at both the graduate and undergraduate levels ever since. He thinks he’s got the best job ever.

Locally, he serves on the Board of Directors for a half-dozen government and not-for-profit organizations, including the Penobscot Theatre Company, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Bangor, and the Maine Society of CPAs. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maine and is a Certified Management Accountant (IMA).
