A new study led by NRT trainee Alyssa Soucy and 91¸£Àû faculty Sandra De Urioste-Stone, Ivan Fernandez, Aaron Weiskittel, and Parinaz Rahimzadeh-Bajgiran, together with Tom Doak of the Maine Woodland Owners Association, has been published in the Maine Policy Review. Their study approaches the question of whether current forest policies are sufficient to deal with climate change impacts by examining how forest stakeholders in Maine perceive barriers to climate change adaptation.

Retreat ObjectivesÌý – Ìý
  1. Provide opportunities for trainees, faculty and conservation partners to connect and share ideas regarding research interests and priorities, professional development and internship experiences, and potential collaboration.
  2. Highlight current trainee research and provide opportunities for trainees to engage with faculty and partners regarding careers, internships and research.
  3. Provide program updates and discuss future directions
