Across seven biweekly sessions, you&#8217;ll get dedicated instructional support, informative discussions, content delivery, and structured time between sessions to apply what you&#8217;ve learned directly to your own course. On alternate weeks, an optional working session will be provided with dedicated instructional design support and accountability if desired.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alternate Tuesdays from 10:00-11:00am starting September 15th; in-person<\/span><b>*<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">During the program you will:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Prioritize your course goals,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Build accessibility skills,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Explore different approaches to creating\/remediating accessible course content,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Brainstorm solutions to new problems,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Leave with at least one course that is fully (or close to fully) accessible.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><i>*<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Anyone who is interested in a remote alternative to this program can <\/span><\/i><a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/citl\/instructional-design-2\/pedagogy-consultation\/\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">arrange for regularly scheduled one-on-one support from an instructional designer<\/span><\/i><\/a><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.
