Dr. Mark McLaughlin, cross-appointed between the Canadian-American Center and the History Department (also the History Graduate Coordinator), drove up a van full of the graduate students. Dr. McLaughlin also gave the conference keynote, titled\u00a0<em>Blurring the Lines: Comic Books and Political Ecology in the Post-Second World War Northeast Borderlands<\/em>.\u00a0All of the graduate students&#8217; conference papers were well received, and it was a great opportunity for them to connect with their Canadian counterparts.
