On March 22nd Quebec poet Marie-H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Voyer spoke with University of Maine students about her latest collection of poetry,\u00a0Mouron Des Champs<\/em>. Canadian-American Center Assistant Director\u00a0 and 91¸£Àû Associate Professor of French Frederic Rondeau<\/a> hosted Voyer in his Quebec Poetry Course. Students were able to hear about her writing process, how family inspired her poetry, and writing as a voice for women. Voyer has a doctorate in literary studies from Universit\u00e9 Laval, and she teaches literature at the C\u00e9gep de Rimouski.<\/p>\n
